MYOGENX

Testing and quality

Six steps, and you can check five of them

Most of this market asks you to take its word. The point of publishing every certificate before sale is that you do not have to take ours.

01

Batch arrives and is quarantined

Nothing is listed, picked or sold from a batch that has not cleared testing. Quarantine is physical, not a spreadsheet flag.

02

Sampled and sent for independent analysis

A sample goes to a named third-party analytical laboratory. We do not test our own material, because a supplier grading their own homework is not evidence.

03

Purity by HPLC

Reverse-phase HPLC separates the compound from everything else in the vial and measures the proportion of each. The purity figure is the main peak area as a percentage of total peak area.

04

Identity by mass spectrometry

ESI-MS measures the molecular weight and confirms the compound is what the label says. Purity without identity is the purity of an unidentified compound.

05

Certificate published, then released

The certificate goes live at a permanent URL before the batch is listed for sale. That URL is printed on the vial label. Only then does the batch leave quarantine.

06

Held at -20°C, custody documented

Released stock is held at -20°C, dry, dark and desiccated, with the chain of custody recorded through to dispatch.

What we will not claim

We are not ISO 9001 certified and we do not say we are. We do not describe our supplier as ISO certified as though that were the same thing as our own accreditation. When a batch certificate says a figure, it is because a named laboratory measured it on a named date, and you can read the trace yourself.
